Yes, absolutely. You will need to pick a date and time and get the necessary permission from your school.

Yes, attendees can donate to the host teams as well as purchase tickets. Donations will be accepted before, during and after the screenings. Donation flyers can be found here.

Yes, this is encouraged. We expect teams to sell popcorn and other snacks, drinks, etc. as a way to make additional money. Appropriate permissions will need to be secured from the individual schools.

Yes, we encourage you to pursue local sponsorship for your screening from tech companies, hardware stores, etc. The sponsorship can be given to teams directly in exchange for branding on the web page, tickets, signs and handouts in the theater, slide presentations, and any other creative way to recognize your sponsor.

You can choose either a DVD or a Blu-ray.  Blu-rays are higher quality than DVDs, but require a Blu-ray player.  You will return the DVD or Blu-ray after the screening.

Each license is for one screening. If you would like to have more than one event, please submit an additional form.

Absolutely!  Once your event is confirmed, it’s time to get the word out.  We have materials you are free to use.

If a team reaches combined ticket sales and contributions of $1,000 or more before their screening date they will receive a poster for the film signed by members SlingShot crew. If a team has combined ticket sales and contributions of $2,000 or more they will have the opportunity to host a Q&A with Director/Producer Paul Lazarus or another member of the SlingShot team via Skype before or after their screening.

Tugg informs us: Your funds will be processed within 15 business days after your screening if you use a paypal account. If you do not provide a paypal account, a check will be processed within 45 business days.
